Nearly everyone has a different idea of how Shakshuka is supposed to be made. Hundreds of people have shared their opinions on my YouTube video (some more kindly than others!) on what “real” Shakshuka is. It’s become very clear that this is one of those recipes people hold close to their heart. This version uses the same technique to prepare the sauce and eggs but replaces middle-eastern flavours with southwestern ones. Delicious!
