Paleo Apple Crumble

This Paleo Apple Crumble is as easy as it gets when it comes to making dessert from scratch. You'll need only a handful ingredients and 45 min in the oven!

For the Filling:

  • 6 Medium Granny Smith Apples peeled, cored, and diced
  • ½ cup 100% pure organic Maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder

for the Crumble Topping:

  • 1 cup cassava Flour
  • ¼ cup 100% pure, organic Maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 cup walnuts – roughly chopped
  • ½ cup ghee - melted


For the Filling:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Add apples, maple syrup, lemon juice and cinnamon in a large bowl and toss to combine. Transfer filling to a 10” cast-iron skillet or ovenproof dish.

For the Crumble Topping:

  1. Add cassava flour, nuts, maple syrup, cinnamon, and ghee to a large bowl and toss until combined.
  2. Spoon the crumble overtop of the apple filling and transfer the skillet to the oven. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until crumble is golden brown and the apples are bubbling.
  3. Serve immediately with dairy-free, vanilla ice-cream.
