Dairy-Free Vanilla Latte Macchiato

These Dairy-Free Vanilla Latte Macchiatos are easy to make and delicious. Even the coffee snob in me enjoys them, albeit reluctantly.

Ingredients

  • 250 ml almond milk
  • 2 long shot vanilla Nespresso
  • 1/8 tsp dried vanilla bean – substitute vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup – substitute maple syrup or honey

Instructions

  • Add almond milk, vanilla bean and agave syrup to a small sauce pan. Heat over medium-low until the milk starts to steam. Use a bamboo whisk or balloon whisk to beat the milk until it froths. Pour milk into individual mugs.
  • Pour espresso overtop of milk to create a latte macchiato.
  • Serve immediately.
